Les miroirs Coiffe sont nés d’un exercice formel simple : représenter le mouvement d’un tissu autour de la forme ronde d’un miroir. Le projet s’inscrit dans une démarche de valorisation des savoir-faire de vitrailliste de l’atelier Saint-Didier.
The aim of the project is to promote the know-how of the stained glass worker. It is based on a detailed analysis of the cold glassmaking profession to offer a rereading of the material.
The objects was born from a simple formal exercise: to represent the movement of a fabric around the round shape of a mirror.
